Code of ethics

UPDATED DOCUMENT

February 26, 2025

In SLUPU, we are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in our marketing strategies, reflecting our clients' commitment to their audiences. Our ethical code is based on the following principles.

1. Exclusive collaboration with qualified professionals

We work exclusively with companies and professionals who possess the necessary credentials, experience, and certifications to offer quality products or services.

2. Promotion of evidence-backed services and products

We focus on publicizing services, products, and initiatives whose effectiveness and quality are proven. While we understand that some sectors include innovative or alternative products, our promotion focuses on ethically responsible practices with solid foundations. We ensure we avoid promoting solutions that lack a minimum of objective backing or are potentially misleading to the consumer.

3. Rejection of potentially harmful practices

We do not collaborate with professionals, companies, or sectors that offer products or services that may be harmful to people, communities, or the environment. Our priority is to protect the rights and well-being of consumers, avoiding the promotion of initiatives that may generate harm, misinformation, or exploitation.

4. Clarity in our competencies

We recognize our areas of expertise in marketing and are transparent about them. For example, we have extensive experience in digital strategies, but not in other channels such as traditional public relations campaigns. If a client requires services outside our scope, we will refer them to professionals with the appropriate competencies. If we believe we can tackle a project even though our experience is limited, we will inform the client so they can make an informed decision.

5. Reasoned recommendations

We only suggest services, tools, or strategies that we have personally used, thoroughly evaluated, or that have strong backing in their industry. Although we occasionally receive affiliate commissions, our recommendations are based on quality, usefulness, and a positive impact for our clients. If at any time we identify that the quality of a product or service has declined, we will remove it from our recommendations.

This ethical code guides our actions and decisions, ensuring that our marketing strategies are grounded in integrity, responsibility, and respect toward companies, professionals, and their audiences, regardless of the sector in which they operate.
