The Digital Toolkit will return in late 2026 with a new call for applications to help SMEs, micro-enterprises, and the self-employed implement digital solutions. The guidelines were updated in 2026 so that the available funds can be reinvested and allocated, where appropriate, to new calls.
As of 12 September 2026, the opening date, business segments, amounts and final conditions have not yet been published. At SLUPU we help you prepare the project in advance and we will update this information as soon as Red.es publishes the official resolution.
What is the Digital Kit?
It is a Spanish government grant programme, managed by Red.es and financed by NextGenerationEU funds, to support the digitalisation of small businesses, microbusinesses and self-employed professionals throughout Spain.

Digital Kit requirements for SMEs and self-employed professionals
The definitive requirements will depend on the call for applications published by Red.es. As a reference, the program rules have normally required the company or self-employed person to meet these conditions:
- Be an SME, micro-enterprise, self-employed person, or entity included among the beneficiaries of the call.
- Meet the headcount, revenue, and tenure limits established for the corresponding segment.
- Have a tax residence in Spain and be registered for the corresponding economic activity.
- Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
- Not be considered a company in crisis nor be subject to prohibitions on receiving grants.
- Do not exceed the applicable de minimis aid limit.
- Comply with any additional requirements specified in the future official call.
